Bates Technical College Advanced Technology Center classroom building that is approximately 54,000 square feet and houses engineering programs, digital media programs, IT training programs and includes a performance studio. Mechanical system uses ground coupled heat pump system for maximum energy performance.
University of Washington Y Student Center was a $22 million collaborative effort between the University of Washington Tacoma and the YMCA. This 70,238 square foot center is used as an exercise facility and student center. This project received the Design-Build Institute of America's National Award of Merit in the category of Educational Facilities.
This project is a new three story building serving Pacific Lutheran University radio station KPLU. The first floor house the radio station studios, communication equipment and support offices. The second and third floors are dedicated to administrative and office purposes. Mechanical systems were designed to be ultra quiet while still having a large enough capacity to handle significant equipment cooling loads & be operational 24 hours a day. This project was awarded LEED Gold Certification
